5 of 5 Perfect replacement for the motor in my Beam 190 January 9, 2022

This is the same model motor that I had to replace in my more-than-30-year-old Beam 190 central vacuum, and I was very happy this was still available.  Although it is exactly the same model number, and looked exactly the same, the installation required minor customization:  Since all three wires of this motor have bare leads, I had to cut away a section of the green and black wires from my original motor, and splice these onto the green and black wires of this new motor, in order to have the special connectors to fit my installation.  I also had to drill a 5/32" hole in the exit pipe of the new motor (to match a similar hole in the original motor), in order to securely connect the motor's exit pipe to my central vacuum's exhaust port.  This wasn't a big deal, and the unit now works perfectly again.
