I purchased this motor to replace the one in my Electrolux model 1590 central vacuum. It came with a mounting rubber gasket (nice surprise),, but I didn't need to replace the old one. Very, very easy installation works like a dream. The first lasted 20 years, now I'll get another 20 from this motor. I'm glad I found BMP co. on the internet. Electrolux wanted 3 times as much to replace it or said buy a new vacuum and others said it would fit right. They were both wrong. Thanks BMP!!
